General Director
Oleg Andreev – General Director of Gazprom dobycha Yamburg, mining engineer, MBA degree holder. He started his career in 1985 as a gas production operator at the fifth gas treatment unit of Yamburggazdobycha.
PhD in Technical Sciences, Active Member of the Academy of Technological Sciences (ATS) of the Russian Federation, Member of the ATS Presidium, Program Committee A of the International Gas Union, Supervisory Board of the Russian Gas Society, Executive Committee of the non-profit Vernadsky Foundation.
Author and co-author of 69 published scientific works (including 3 monographs) and 28 inventions.
For his labor and public activities O. Andreev is awarded a medal of the For Merits before the Fatherland order (2nddegree), the public decoration – For Honor and Valor order, the Miner of Russia gold sign, a gold medal of the international business club for the Faultless Business Reputation. He is awarded the Prize of the Russian Federation Government, three times laureate of the Gazprom Prize, laureate of the Peter the Great national technological prize.

History
Gazprom dobycha Yamburg has been operating in YaNAO since 1984.
The history of the company started with the Yamburg oil, gas and condensate field development, with more than 3 tcm of natural gas produced. At the moment the work is underway on intensive development of peripheral areas of the field: in December 2005 the Aneryakhinskaya area was brought to its nominal capacity – 10 bcm per year. A year later the gas treatment unit # 9 of the Kharutvinskaya area was put into operation. In late October 2007 the gas pre-treatment plant # 10 was launched.
In 2001 the Zapolyarnoye field was put into operation. 100 bcm of gas per year coming from the Zapolyarnoye field to the Unified Gas Supply System (UGSS) of Russia since 2004 – almost a fifth of all gas volumes produced by Gazprom. In July 2007 a new development stage commenced at Zapolyarnoye. First wells of the Neocomian deposit first startup complex were drilled.
Primary Activity
The primary activity of Gazprom dobycha Yamburg is gas and gas condensate production. The company produces 220-230 bcm of gas and more than 1.5 mln t of gas condensate every year. This is more than 40 per cent of Gazprom’s total production and 34 per cent of all gas produced in Russia.
Technologies
From the moment of its formation Gazprom dobycha Yamburg has been a leader in the area of new technology introduction. The utilization in the production process of such know-how as drilling-in through the open stope method, bed completion, application of stationary gas-dynamic studies, plastically frozen soil stabilizer enable to raise gas and condensate extraction and to reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere.
The innovative decisions based on IT-technologies are being actively used in the company’s production and management activities. This embraces the creation of geo information systems, introduction of multi-level integrated information and technological process management system at the Kharvutinskaya area – a prototype of prospective fully automated technologies as well as introduction of an SAP/R3 and electronic paperwork system.
Environmental Protection
Following the sustainable development principles, Gazprom dobycha Yamburg aims to observe the balance between economic, environmental and social targets in all aspects of its business.
Environmental management is an integral part of the general business management system of Gazprom dobycha Yamburg. The company introduces a system of environmental management according to ISO 14000:1998 standards. Every year the company spends about RUB 4 bln on environmental protection and environmental payments.
Social Policy
The company’s scale of operations is commensurate with the volume of its social obligations to employees and the region. The implementation of the Gazprom to Children program is the most important social investment of the company. Every year Gazprom dobycha Yamburg holds charitable actions - For Young Sportsmen, Contribution into the Future, Do Good, Youth Employment, Gifted Youth Support, Let’s Build the Future Together, For a Healthy Lifestyle, Summer is a Small Life, For Children of Tundra, etc.

Prospects
Gazprom dobycha Yamburg performs prospecting work annually spending for this purpose about RUB 3.5 bln. The last five years only saw the increase in reserves by over 450 mln t of coal equivalent, including by 447 bcm of gas. The company’s geologists have discovered the Yuzhno-Parusovoye and Severo-Parusovoye fields, 17 gas, oil and gas condensate deposits.
In the short term the company will develop the group of Parusovye fields and in the long term – Taz and Ob Bay fields.
